Careers and Guidance
The committee focuses on developing students’ career and life planning skills. Various career-related and guidance programmes are organized every year, namely S1, S2 and S3 Career Workshops.
To enhance senior form students’ knowledge of the world of work, different career-related programmes are organised with the help of Hoi Ping alumni. Besides the Careers Day held in May, several workplace visits to alumni’s companies and job-tasting programmes are held.
In addition, S3-S5 students are arranged to join mentoring programmes organised jointly by external organizations. S4 – S6 Admission Information Parallel Sessions are held to widen students’ exposure to programmes run by different universities and institutions in Hong Kong. Visits to universities and institutions and other programmes like S3 Subject Selection Talk, S4 Grooming and Image Workshop, S5 Mock JUPAS Programme Selection Workshop, S6 One-page Resume Writing Workshop, S6 JUPAS Talk, Mock Interview Workshop and S6 Academic Counselling Scheme are organized to cater for different needs of students.
